| Mine peaks up to a 110 frames per second. Lately though, it gets as low as 65 frames per second. I'm not so sure if its just wear and tear, overheating or too many processes going on. However, I still can kick some ass

| My FPS usually never goes lower than 220, but is mostly around 290. Sometimes, when I die it spikes down to 100. |

| I would get constant 40-50 fps max, maybe 60 if I'm lucky.
It's a pretty old card itself, but I guess it was good for it's time. |

| Normally I get 30-40 fps. but sometimes I get approx. 15-20 fps for some reason =/
Maybe I need to close all my other apps running before starting TF2. |

| About this time last year, I went to Thailand. While I was there my dad and I put together a shopping list of every single top of the line component, and we went out and bought them. GTX 285 Quad Core i7 Micro ATX motherboard 6 GB DDR 3 RAM Windows 7 Ultimate (legit) |

| That's some machine there kig I normally average 60-80 fps and maybe 40-50 in intense battles. On 32 man servers I lagg But it is overheating. I'm sure of that. Checked my card's temp and it's at 110c under load Occasionally my fps will go back to normal for a minute or so then back down to unbearable fps Anyway while I can't play, I can idle at least I've got like 3-4 hats in the last week or so |

| Pretty nifty computer you have there kig. Mines not exactly qualified as a high ender but atleast it stills runs pretty smoothly and gives in to my needs. I don't need much as I do Photoshop most of the time and Team Fortress 2 does not need too much memory. I do have my father's computer though, which kicks like a mule.
My Computer Intel(R)Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E7200 @ 2.53GHz ( and still runs that way ) 2.00GB of RAM ( kinda sucks ) Nvidia 9500 |

| I've been upgrading my com quite a bit this past few months actually, before I learnt more about 'em I was running on a bloody onboard graphics card =.=
My computer: Windows XP Home 32 Bit Intel Core 2 Duo E7300 running at 2.66GHz ATI Radeon HD4870 512mb DDR5 (upgraded last year during the start of year end hols) 4Gb Ram (yes I know I have one Gb excess cause 32 Bit only supports up to 3Gb) AcBel E2 Power 510W (upgraded along with my card last year) Samsung 1.5tb internal hard drive, 3.5", 7.2krpm, 32mb cache I think Razer Deathadder and some ancient 10 years old Compaq keyboard
Yes I know there's a bottleneck at my cpu cause it's so slow =.=
P.S. go download Rivatuner to overclock your card if you're experiencing major graphics lag or bump up the fan speed if you're overheating too much. Careful though, it voids your warranty if you're still on one. |

| Hurray I upgraded my computer/othercomputer so now I'm getting decent FPS I'll give you specs no punctuation
Windows 7 Ultimate Intel Core i5 661 3.66GHZ Asus ENGTS250 Dark Knight 1gb Asus P7P55D LE Muddabored 4GB DDR3 Corsair 1600MHZ
Wireless Microsoft Keyboard that poops out on me every week or so, and a Logitech Optical Trackball/Razer Copperhead.
So instead of 40-50-60 FPS which the old computer had, I'm getting more than 100FPS. We still use the old computer for Gmod and stuff, so it's not being neglected. |

| EH, this thread's going off topic =.= We need a new thread to hold all the computer builds =/ We're not supposed to post all our imbal computer builds and make kazek jealous are we? |

| Well, the way I see it, we're giving him options.
For example, Kig's is pretty high-end, so if Kazek wanted to upgrade/rebuild he could try out Kig's build/parts. If Kazek wants a reliable stable computer, he could try MC's build/parts.
Hopefully this is informative enough. :O |

| You don't really need to replace the parts. Just overclock your parts and get a better case fan to cool down the parts cause overclocking produces alotta heat in the parts. Just get someone good at computers to help you with the build if you want really want to upgrade it. Some parts like kig's are overkill so you won't need to buy so good parts since most games don't require so high performance parts. Unless of course you're doing graphics designing. Have to get top of the line everything |
