That's it. I ragequit TF2.
First off, yes, I
AM butthurt that I got banned from Starhub, and I think it's best that I leave Team Fortress 2 already.
I got banned by accident because I probably taunted in the server before I left. Now I sent an email to Hammifer regarding this, and he hasn't replied me yet.
Or will even NEVER reply me.
Over the past 2 days I've been stressed up and have been in a really,
REALLY bad mood. Up to the point where I'd stop playing games with everyone,
and ended up not paying attention for a certain Trigonometry lesson that could cost me to fail a very important test.
Several things could have prevented this:
1. If Hammifer was a little more reasonable by actually spending some time to actually proceed with my request, to check the server logs to prove my innocence.
If Hammifer wouldn't check the logs, there is completely
no way to prove my innocence.
2. If I didn't play Team Fortress 2 on 3/1 1:34pm. I initially planned that day on my calender to be "Rush 50 fat stacks of solid homework day". But I played Team Fortress 2 instead.
This is
MY FAULT. If I wasn't such a lazy procastinating bitch about important schoolwork, this fiasco wouldn't have happened.
3. If VALVe actually took the time to update the game and patch the glitch away, preventing me and several other Starhub TF2 players from getting banned in the first place.
VALVe had from December 17th until January 3rd to actually fix it. A whopping
18 Days.
4. If I didn't get banned on the first offence. You all know the story, I got banned from doing that engineer exploit and I sent an email and got one more chance bla bla
Now what if I wasn't so stupid back then? What if I acutally was smart enough to actually take the precaution and had the responsibility to unbind the key that would punch in the command?
This permanent ban wouldn't have happened.
I have come to realise over the past 2 days that this is not entirely Hammifer's fault.
Because I understand Hammifer's reasons after being admin for a few days on Derphub. I'd rather have a douchebag guy banned from the server, rather than give him a second chance.
My case was probably justified, because I was banned on a previous offence, and he wouldn't bother to check the server logs, because he believes I am already a repeated offender,
and I understand his intentions.
"Better safe than sorry."Now, why am I leaving?
These sequence of events has already taken a terrible toll on my mood, and quite possibly my performance in school.
Causing unnecessary stress is not quite what a video gaming lifestyle is not supposed to do.
I understand that little amounts of stress in games are natural, like for example when you almost cap the last point and fail, drop uber as medic, this is all stress-inducing.
However, all these little events that cause stress do wear off within a short time. The time varies, being calming down after 2 minutes, or even until you wake up the next day.
I was getting stressed up from 2 days ago, and I am
still affected.
Continuing to be in this state will cause me to fail in school.
I'd rather not continue playing this game, as getting a new account or even borrowing one from a friend will probably get that account banned along with me.
That will probably turn me into a state much much worse than now.
and face it, I'm not good at competitive TF2 either. Pocket soldiers are dime-a-dozen in SEA. They all are probably better than me. Even after pugging and scrimming continuously in the pug servers,
sitting out every other round, spectating the soldiers, I still can't compete with them. No, I am not quitting solely because I think suck at the game.
Although, there is one important skill I got from sending all those emails of ban appeals to Hammifer.
I learnt how to be polite in typing emails to higher-ups.
I do have to thank some people for my wonderful time in Team Fortress 2:
1. GreleMarcia (He probably won't see this anyway), you were there when we both bought the game together. You were the one that made me buy the game, although you quit TF2 a long time ago, you will still remain as the one to help me get into TF2 for the first time.

3. The entire :I and everyone else on my friend's list. You guys are still awesome. heh. except for GODZILLAH and the scammers who want my fucking unusual by offering 2 scrap or something.
